a website for information about initiatives to repeal the severe restrictions on freedom to protest contained in the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005

About this site

This site has been put together by individuals campaigning against the restrictions on freedom of association and speech that were introduced by the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act when it came into force in 2005.

This site was set up to act as a source of information relating to the relevant parts of SOCPA.

The wider campaign against SOCPA, and for freedom of assembly and freedom of speech, is taking place on many fronts - on the street, in the courts and in the media. See links for details of how to get involved in other anti-SOCPA/free speech initiatives.
